Edward Landin (b. 1988) — Psalm Prelude 1 (after Psalm 34:8) (2017) for organ

American organist and composer Edward Landin Senn (b. 1988) began his musical education at the St. Thomas Choir School under the direction of Gerre Hancock. He has studied further at the Interlochen Arts Academy, the Eastman School of Music, and Westminster Choir College. Landin has served on the music staff of Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. As a recitalist, he has performed in the USA and Europe including a featured organ recital at the 2010 Beaumaris Arts Festival in North Wales. As a composer, he has published several collections of organ music. As a performer, Landin’s interest in contemporary music, especially by American composers, has led to the commissions of numerous new works.
