Jukka-Pekka Kervinen (b. 1961) — to go, be slow (2021) for organ
Finnish composer and visual artist Jukka-Pekka Kervinen (b. 1961) was educated at the University of Helsinki and Open University. He studied composition with Andrew Bentley, Erkki Salmenhaara, and Mikko Kervinen. As Kervinen is active in both composition and visual art, some of his works blur the distinctions between the two. He has written conventionally notated scores, graphical scores, and prose scores; his music explores a variety of personal compositional systems and practices as well as algorithmic music.
