I posted the Scherzo from this sonata a while ago and have now completed learning and playing the first movement.
This really is a magnificent work which improves much on getting to know it. It is certainly a serious organ work which should be better known but it is also full of lightness and fine melodies.
I'm not sure as to whether I will do the other movements (especially the Finale). The Largo and Intermezzo aren't overly demanding but I may have my work cut out in the Finale which ain't exactly a "walk in the park".
In the interim, I hope that listeners enjoy my rendition of this particular movement.
