Bohemian Rhapsody

Another rock classic from my younger days. I recently read an interview with one of the UK's teenage theatre organists. Asked "what do you most want to play on the organ", she replied "Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen, of course". That set me thinking that this could be fun to do.

Bohemian Rhapsody was the song that turned Queen from a struggling band about to be dropped by their record company into one of the world's all time great rock bands. This was despite the record company resisting releasing it as a single, on the grounds that it was too long and would not get any air time. Fortunately Kenny Everett, then maverick DJ at London station Capital Radio, decided to play it several times a day and the rest, as they say, is history.
