Luigi Chiarizia (b. 1978) — Ricordo di Dio (Ommagio a Max Ernst), op. 1, no. 22 (2001) for organ
The composer writes: “I had to render, through music, that memory of God who unexpectedly comes to our minds when we contemplate the sky at night or when in dreams we find ourselves, even if only for one moment, in that absolute peace that only the Supreme Being can give us.”

Italian composer Luigi Chiarizia (b. 1978) was born in L’Aquila and was educated in Pescara, Cremona, and Siena. He has been active as an organist and harpsichordist and has published a number of musical compositions in various genres.
