Belgian organist and composer Wannes Vanderhoeven (b. 1971) was educated at the Lemmens Institute and is currently a faculty member (teaching organ, music history, and improvisation) at the Municipal Conservatory in Mechelen. As an organ recitalist he has performed throughout Europe and received prizes in several organ competitions.
