Joseph Matthias Schäfer (17 June 1882 — 1940)
He was an organist in Lindlar Germany and that is about all that is easliy found. Please comment if you know more.

here is a performance of numbers 2 and 3 on Youtube that lasts for 5 miniutes. The music starts the same as these but then is extended so there must be different versions of this music somewhere. maybe these are only samples of the larger works.
