As David (Agnus Dei) said on his upload of Entree Pontificale a couple of years ago "I can't tell you anything about the composer."
All I know is he was from Belgium, and this piece was published in 1900 as part of his 'Messe de Noel'.
This piece calls for Jeux Doux and to be played Lento. It has three parts. An intro of sorts, the carol played with some harmonisation and then a final section which is a bit more elaborate. It is quite nice and being in G could easily be adapted for singing I guess.
I am on a mission this year to play only new pieces this Christmas as I feel due to circumstances of the past two years I haven't really learned anything new and I don't really want to perform the same stuff over and over.
