A la venue de Noel (Troisième livre d'Orgue)

This is the first Noel varie in the series of Lebegue's noels.
As i did not find an english version of the text, Hence I have prepared a translation to give you an idea what the noel is about:

Christmas coming closer,
we shall all rejoice
As it is the new Covenant
|: that everyone should observe :|

When in his pride, Lucifer
fell down to hell
all of us leading to perdition
|: The son of god bought us free :|

As soon as god was born
the angel went to the sheepherds
Who all started singing
|: sounding pipes and drums :|

After a litte time
three kings came to pray
carrying myrrh and incense
|: and gold strong desired :|

There say sa seet Jesus Christ
and his mother, who did hold him
The one, who made the word
|: and raised the sinners :|

It is quite clear, he loves as all
when he was crucified for us
God fahter who has created everything
|: Grant as the right to Paradis :|
