Description:	A medieval carol with a German tune. The English version has many translations from the Latin, such as "Shepherds Left Their Flocks A-Straying" by Imogen Holst (the one in the Oxford Book of Carols I played from). Which ever version you know it is essentially one verse about the shepherds, one about the wise men and then about praising and finding salvation in Jesus' birth (some verses contain another verse talking about Mary).
