Genre:	Romantic
Description:	Merkel's Pastorale is a solemn worship music of an intimate character and the typical musical attributes of the shepherd's idyll. Mezzoforte-sections dialogue with piano passages. A gentle registration evokes the meditative and adoring atmosphere of the nativity scene on Christmas Eve. The OAM-sample of the Metzler-organ of Poblet (Spain) offers a rich selection of flute and string stops to realize such romantic organ music.
