Advent and Christmas (85): Voluntary on "O du fröhliche" op. 1291

Cooman's energetic voluntary was played first in a Christmas Eve's mass 2018 in the cathedral of Palma de Mallorca (Spain).

At the glamorous end, the full organ sounds with Zimbelstern and also (first time used in all my recordings) with the spanish trumpet stops: Their striking sound is suitable to crown the enthusiastic gesture of this festive Christmas fanfare.
