Description:	Well-known piece by the great composer. As often with Reger's pieces, the metronome marking is ridiculously high. Henrico Stewen wrote a book about this for his doctoral thesis called: The Straube Code with as subtitle: Deciphering the Metronome Marks in Max Reger's Organ Music. Very instructive! Published by the Sibelius Academy Church music Department Publications 30 Everyone who developed an inferiority complex of not being able to play Reger at the prescribed speed can throw the pills away!
