Description:
J. S. Bach: Prelude And Fugue in E Minor, BWV 555 from 8 short Preludes & Fugues 553 - 560, No. 3 (now I play both the Prelude and the fugue).

I think you have to/don’t have to increase the volume in beginning because I have a crescendo several times towards the end…but you can adjust the volume the second time you listen….
Bach's music displays fiery temperament, but I think I can not feel it as much as I usually feel in Bach's preludes and fugues. Maybe it's composed by his student Krebs? Anyway, I like this piece much. It’s a great little prelude & fugue with many rich harmonies. It is how the tones go together in chords, the arrangement……that I like, it have a pleasing effect on me (totally different than Toccata and fugue in d minor). Playing now both Prelude and Fugue.
Try to listen to the combination of
simultaneously sounded notes, and how it ”waves” up and down, especially in the beautiful and elegant fugue. Love it!

A masterpiece by a good student of the great master Bach, maybe, probably….

In this piece of music I add stops and use several different registrations ( 4) so that the music swells towards the end ( a step by step crescendo)  and then vice versa in the fugue, a softer registration, I think the fugue is so beautiful.

Recorded with headphones, may sound different with speakers.

Best wishes,

Stig
