Elegy

This is a particularly beautiful piece written by German organist and composer, Paul Fey, who seems to go from strength to strength. The sheet music can be obtained from Paul himself on the YouTube channel featuring this piece.

This performance on the Peterborough sample set (the "new" retuned version, now available from Audio Angelorum), is one of a pair, the other being a performance on Piotr Grabowski's Nancy Cathedral sample set .

A little compression has been used during the recording process, in order to slightly reduce the dynamic range, which is still high nevertheless.
