Nun freut euch, lieben Christen g'mein

After my reconstructions of Sorge's choral preludes to the chorals "O Herre Gott, dein Göttlich Wort" and "Allein Gott in der Höh sei Ehr" I thought that three times is a charm and I should try a third restoration.

The manuscript contains a choral prelude to "Nun freut euch lieben Christen g'mein" of which only the second half survives. My task was therefore to provide the first half.

This time I took some artistic liberty and did not emulate Sorge's style as closely as possible. Though the deviation is still very small. On my website I wqrite a bit more about the choices I made whem completing this choral prelude.

My phone's memory turned out to be nearly full when I started recording and the last few seconds are missing. I decided to leave it at that, it fits the theme 'incomplete' rather nicely. The sound recording is of course complete.
