Choralvariation: Christus, der ist mein Leben

Pachelbel lived from 1653 to 1706, died a year before Buxtehude. He worked in Eisennach, where he also got in touch with the Bach family. From 1695 until his death he worked at the Sebalduskirche in Nürnberg. Well known is the collection Hexachordum Apollinis, which consists of six arias and variations for harpsichord or organ. I left out Partita 5 for harpsichord and play the same Partita for organ with the cantus firmus in the pedal.
