Description:
The cardinals are fledging in the Northeastern United States (elsewhere too I'm sure).

The first few weeks for any altricial bird is literally a matter of life and death: a series of tests to be overcome on the way to independent flight.

This piece employs in addition to an organ sample set and three synthesizers, recordings of singing cardinals. With apologies to Alan Hovhaness!
