Ouvertüre aus dem Oratorium Paulus Uploaded by: Glebe Composer: Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Felix Organ: 1884/1995 Walcker-Eule, Annaberg, Germany Software: Hauptwerk VII Views: 111
A splendid and typical composition from this period between baroque and classicism, written by an - at that time - well known composer, Isfrid Kayser, who was a monk and music director and also later abbot at Marchtal Abbey.
A couple of years ago I´ve recorded a CD at Maihingen ("Gradus ad Parnassum"), where someone can find this piece and other very well fitting music especially for the style of this kind of south german organs.
