Graham Twist (b. 1958) was born in West Yorkshire, England and earned degrees in education at the University of Huddersfield and Open University. He had a career as an educator, concluding with an appointment as Head of Junior School at Farringtons School in Chislehurst, Bromley. In retirement, Twist returned to a lifelong interest in music to pursue activities in organ playing and composition.
