American organist and composer Thomas Fielding (b. 1975) was educated at Valparaiso University and Indiana University. His teachers included Christopher Young, Martin Jean, and Robert A. Hobby. Fielding was awarded first prize in the national Arthur Poister (Syracuse, NY) and San Marino (CA) performance competitions, and has won several national composition prizes. He has played recitals throughout England and the Netherlands including two appearances at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London. As a composer, Fielding’s works have been published by various publishers and have been performed throughout the USA, Canada, Europe, and Asia.
