In this third video of the 'Orgelbüchlein'-series on the model of the beautiful Hendrik Ahrend organ, Regensburg I play two pieces. In BWV 604 'Gelobet seist du, Jesu Christ' I went for a registration in which the cantus firmus has a sort of Sesquialter like sound. In BWV 636 'Vater unser im Himmelreich' I combined the 8' Grobgedackt with the string stop Fugara 8', which gives an almost romantic sound to it. On organs with so many nice 8' and 4' stops you have to try these combinations, and it mostly sounds wonderful.
