Robert H. McIver (b. 1948) — Arioso grazioso (publ. 1996) for organ
American voice teacher and composer Robert H. McIver (b. 1948) was educated at Oberlin College and West Virginia University. He was Assistant Professor of Voice at Westminster Choir College from 1972–81, Professor of Music at Kentucky Wesleyan College (1981–98) and Professor of Voice at the Eastman School of Music from 1997 until his retirement in 2015. In addition to voice teaching, McIver was an active conductor at choral festivals, and prior to his time at Eastman served as Minister of Music at churches in New Jersey and Kentucky for more than 25 years.
