Arnold Matthias Brunckhorst isn't very well known among organists. And if organists know him, it's mainly because of his Prelude in G minor, which was wrongly attributed to Nikolaus Bruhns for a long time. Auke Jongbloed from Partitura Organum published another wonderful piece by Brunckhorst: his Prelude & Fugue in e minor. It has everything you want in a North German stylus phantasticus piece: scales on the manuals, pedal soli, big chords in Adagio form and a nice, not too complicated fugue theme.
