Composer: Bach, J. S.
Sample Producer: OrganArt Media
Sample Set: 1766 Riepp Dreifaltigkeits Organ, Ottobeuren, Germany
Software: Hauptwerk VII
Genre: Baroque
Description:
Johann Sebastian Bach wrote a number of choral preludes on the popular Lutheran hymn 'Wir glauben all' an einen Gott'. Luther wrote the hymn in 1524 as paraphrase on the catholic Credo. The tune has a strong character, which Bach reinforces in the fugal choral prelude BWV 765. A Bach piece I didn't know before playing it this week, which was a nice surprise.

I used the small plenum of the Positiv of the Dreifaltigkeits-Orgel, Ottobeuren. It has a more direct sound compared to the other divisions.
