Composer: Bach, J. S.
Sample Producer: OrganArt Media
Sample Set: 1766 Riepp Dreifaltigkeits Organ, Ottobeuren, Germany
Software: Hauptwerk VII
Genre: Baroque
Description:
Another recording of Bach's great Credo arrangement from the third part of the Clavierübung? - By no means a competitor or complement to Edo's latest great interpretation, nor is it necessary!

But this uniquely powerful work has been with me for years and especially recently, giving me renewed energy.
The last time I played it live was in July at the funeral service of a friend and Bach lover who had been close to me for many years (RIP E.P.). Then I had to take a break for health reasons and now, after three hospital stays with surgeries I am starting again to engage with this music and draw strength and energy from it.

Many thanks to Helmut Maier, who gave me the opportunity to use the beta version of the sample set of the large Riepp Trinity organ in Ottobeuren for this purpose (I have known the real organs in Ottobeuren for almost 40 years!). This instrument has everything that Bach's music needs: power, brilliance, gravitas, many colours and a lot of coherence and musical charm and so much quality that you want to play it again and again...

Greetings to all Hauptwerkians - I'm back.
