Benedikt Anton Aufschnaiter, (1665 - 1742) 1705 successor of the late Kapellmeister Georg Muffat in Passau
The "Sonata da chiesa S.Lucae" is a church sonata dedicated to the evangelists Lucas. Here as a transcription, because the work was composed for a chamber music string orchestra.
I play the work on an unreleased beta version of a beautiful baroque organ. The composition was written approximately in the year the organ was built.
