Composer: Strungk, Delphin
Sample Producer: OrganArt Media
Sample Set: 1766 Riepp Dreifaltigkeits Organ, Ottobeuren, Germany
Software: Hauptwerk VII
Genre: Baroque
Description:
Let's try some North German baroque on this South German organ. Although, Karl Joseph Riepp had an organ in mind that could play a wide variety of styles. I often play this piece when I first try out an organ or sample set, to search for a nice balance between the manual reeds and the pedal reeds.

A lot is lost from the compositions of Delphin Strungk, which is a shame. The few compositions which survived show us his great quality as a composer. He lived a long life, quite unique for that time: 1601-1694. He possibly knew contemporaries as Scheidt, Pachelbel, Buxtehude and maybe even Bach.
