MAC No. 3: O komm, o komm, du Morgenstern

During the corona pandemic our congregations were not allowed to sing. We decided to have the hymns read and to put some organ music in between the verses. I created “monophonies”, playing around with the melody, modifying certain notes, changing modes or adding ornaments. However, the melody should always be recognizable by the congregation and its mood should be reflected by the music.
