Noel X

I play the famous Noel X from the Livre de Noels by Louis Claude Daquin, who lived in Paris from 1694 to 1772. From 1755 he was organist at Notre Dame de Paris and was considered a brilliant improviser. Unfortunately, many of his compositions have been lost. Why did I take Nancy and not St. Maximin? Well, the Nancy organ has a stock of old stops and reeds from Dupont 1763, when Daquin was still alive.
