Alexandre-Pièrre-Francois Boely (1785 - 1858): Fantaisie et Fugue Op. 18, 6
&
Johann Sebastian Bach (1685 - 1750): Fantasia et Fuga in c BWV 906
Boely's famous Fantaisie et Fugue Op. 18,6 is not a prestissimo-Etude as performed in many interpretations.
The subject of the Fugue is a hidden hommage a J. S. Bach because its first four notes a a variant of the B-A-C-H notes.
The Bach-enthusiast Boely composed in the Bach-tradition. So I want to add the Fantasia et Fuga in c BWV 906 which have been an inspiration for Boely because we listen there to musical ideas which are familar with Op. 18, 6.
Bach's Fugue is only a fragment which I tryed to complete.
