Composer: Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Felix
Sample Producer: Piotr Grabowski
Sample Set: Metzler organ (2010), Düren
Software: Hauptwerk VII
Genre: Romantic
Description:
Felix Mendelssohn wrote this charming Andante in D major in 1823 when he was only 14 years old. This lovely piece is worth playing, although not as well known as his 6 organ sonatas or 3 preludes and fugues.
The Metzler organ in Düren has a wonderful flute in each manual and I coupled these 3 flutes together.
