This Prelude, number 6 in a set of 6 Short Preludes and Postludes Op101 written on 1907, is a form of Chorale Prelude on Dominus Regit Me (the King of love my shepherd is) with sections interspersed between lines of the hymn tune. Here the hymn tune is heard on the Solo 8- and 4-foot Flutes Harmoniques
