Lobet den Herren, lobet ihn mit Harfen Op. 29 Nr. 5

In this festive chorale prelude, Claussnitzer imitates harps in various ways. Clear and strong ('près de la table') in the accompanying motifs in the right hand, soft chord passages in the intermezzi played on the third manual (Echo Organ).
As a second title, the composer gave 'Lobet den Herren, alle, die ihn ehren', the original text to this 17th century melody by Johann Crüger. The hymn is still sung to this text in Germany and Switzerland.
