Description: | From 9th century Missa de Angelis (probably) A milestone with my Organteq work
I want to say this very first:
In a way this piece, interptetation, is a milestone in my work with Organteq. I and the piece full of energy, and a buildup in the end part forte that leads to a spectacular fortissimo ending! The pedal stops sounds at the end like a ”terminator”.
The music is a medieval melody, probably from the Missa de Angelis. The Gregorian Mass known as the Missa de Angelis is believed to date from as early as the 9th century. It is a plainsong mass, designed to be sung in unison and a cappella. It is also known as Mass VIII and can be found in hymnbooks.
Medieval Latin text, translated into Swedish by Olaus Petri in 1531, who was a Swedish reformer, humanist and historian. Processed.
Well, 9th century !!
I am very satisfied with Organteq in this piece. And how I present, interpret,
the music to you listener and how my emotions are communicated through the performance.
Notice : the soft Organteq part in the middle of he piece. I feel the meaning of the text……..from the Latin text ……..”Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world”…….and made a new registration, beautiful for the text.
Enjoy the powerful Organteq!
Best wishes,
Stig
