Lamento est une pièce lente ou le son "larmoyant" du quintaton renforce volontairement le sentiment de tristesse : le jeu de Quintaton 8' est ici formé par une flûte de 8' et la quinte 2.2/3' , avec un accompagnement au Grand Orgue avec une Flûte 8' et une gambe 8' (plus le pédalier , jeux de flûte16' et 8') avec un tremblant (trémolo) aux 2 claviers manuels.
