The well-known Sinfonia from the Easter Oratorio BWV 249 by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750), the first part of a total of 11 parts. A transcription of this symphony was made by MAURIZIO MACHELLA, whom I thank very much for this good work.
The Easter Oratorio was first performed by Bach on Easter Sunday 1725.
In the sample set Alessandra I play the tuba in the main manual, which reflects the sound of the brass.
