This 16th part of the collection has absolutly nothing to do with the others uploads.
All the 25 pieces are short and arranged around 3 tonalities (d minor, F Major, G Major).
The style is also different, and is reminiscent of César Franck (who published his 6 Pièces in 1862). We must also mentionned that Kunc's wife learned the organ with Franck.
Aloys Kunc was born in 1832 and died in 1895. He was organist in Lombez, Auch and then in Toulouse (Saint-Aubin, Eglise du Gesu, Cathédrale).
There is an intimate character in these works that I wanted to keep. using an intimate organ too. In this case, my favorite organ is not french. I am irremediably attracted by the delicacy of the Steere organ (1893) published by Evensong, one of my favorites sets, full of poetry..
