Especially in Catholic Bavaria, the month of May is associated with Mary, the Mother of God, and there are many May devotions everywhere.
Therefore, here is a small musical May devotion with three pieces entitled "My soul lifts up the Lord", i.e. the Magnificat, the Canticle of Mary.
