prelude and fugue in C major BWV 545 by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) is a typical "classical" Bach work, plausible, well-rounded, harmonious, and very well integrated. The work was certainly already available in the Weimar period, but it can be assumed that the first versions date back to the Arnstadt period, i.e. when Bach was young.
