Lowry was an American preacher, who became known for the gospel songs he wrote.... including "Shall We Gather at the River," "How Can I Keep From Singing" and "Nothing But the Blood of Jesus."

I loved singing this hymn in the Baptist churches I grew up in. This fun setting starts with a lone chime, followed by French Horn, then Strings (galore!), moving to a larger registration..... than heading into theatre organ voices, and ending with a large American Classic Organ registration
