Komm, Gott Schöpfer, heiliger Geist

Another setting on the famous Pentecost hymn 'Komm, Gott Schöpfer, heiliger Geist', which originates from the old 'Veni Creator Spiritus'. A fine and uplifting piece by German composer Johann Philipp Kirnberger. He is probably known amongst musicians for his temperaments Kirnberger II and III. He was a big admirer of his teacher Johann Sebastian Bach. Thanks to Kirnberger many of Bach's organ works survived the waves of time.
