ENGLISH TRANSLATION:
1. Whoever lets our dear God rule
and hopes in him at all times,
will be preserved by him in a marvelous way
through every pain and sadness.
Whoever trusts in almighty God has not built upon sand .

5. Do not think in the heat of your suffering
that you have been abandoned by God,
and that someone else who enjoys
constant happiness sits in God's lap .
Time's course brings about many changes
and appoints to each person his destination.

6. These are such easy matters for God,
and the Almighty can equally
make the rich man poor and little,
while he makes the poor man rich and great.
God is the true worker of miracles
who can soon raise up, or soon cast down.

7. Sing, pray and continue in God's way,
Perform your part faithfully
and trust in the rich blessings of heaven.
Then he will be with you anew ;
For whoever places his trust in God,
he will never be forsaken.
