Praeludium in D Minor

My first go at Lubeck. I have noticed that many performances of this piece speed up considerably from the fugue onwards. In my score I didn't see anything which suggested you had to do this, and in fact the way the the first notes of the fugue overlap with the final chord of the prelude suggested to me that the speed should remain the same, so that is what I have done; the latter sections thus have more of a majestic than a vivace quality.
