Amongst all the Hauptwerk sample sets of churches with big or medium acoustics, it's always nice to play on a set with dry acoustics. Two benefits: you can't hide behind acoustics and you can hear the organ sounds in its purest form. That's no punishment when listening to this beautiful small organ, built by Franz Casper Schnitger, placed in the church of a small Dutch village called Duurswoude.
I recorded a canzona by Christian Herbig on the famous Advent hymn 'Nun komm der Heiden Heiland'. It's a fresh approach in which the composer explores the melody in various ways. I couldn't find much information about Herbig, only that he died in 1663. So if anyone can tell more about him, please share it and I will add it to this description.
