Just to start the year with pleasure of sharing with you some of my favorite music played on the Weissenau sample set.
Bach..... because Bach. Any of his chorals is a lesson in humility and fullness. Also because he was capable of the most beautiful joys like in the final concerto.... never played in concert, but the third movement is a pure gem.
Corrette... because I love his music !
Daquin.. because this work shows us that Daquin is far from being just a virtuoso able of composing only virtuoso works, but also pages of infinite tenderness served here on the awesome flutes of this organ.
