Henri Carol (1910–1984) — Versets and Postlude on “Old Hundredth” (1960) for organ
French organist and composer Henri Carol (1910—1984) was born in Montpellier and was educated there and in Bordeaux. He was ordained priest in 1933 and was professor and chorus master of the chapel at the seminary of Saint-Roch in Montpellier. In 1946 he joined the musical staff of Monaco Cathedral and in 1968 was appointed titular organist. He died in 1984 in a automobile accident.
