The Romsey Tuba gets a workout: Marcia Eroica, the second of the four intermezzi by Stanford is one of a set of contrasting pieces. This is a lively and exciting piece with a wonderful opportunity to include the tuba as part of the texture and colour, rather than purely as a solo stop.
