Description:
As a student of the organist Christian Rolle he studied law at the University of Halle around 1732.

In 1735 he was part of Prince Henry of Prussia's orchestra. As a cellist and composer, he joined Frederick the Great's royal chapel in Berlin in 1741.

First assistant to J. Philipp Sack (de) on the organ in Berlin Cathedral, the title was given after his death in 1763.

He became a member of the Musikübende Gesellschaft, a concert society founded by Sack in 1749. He also led another society with members of the Royal Chapel, the Musical Assemblee. In 1781,

Schale merged the two orchestra's and continued to present concerts in Berlin.

Here are four charming organ pieces played on the Poblet Metzler Surround version.
There are quite some pieces by him available on IMSLP.

01:32 26-Largo
02:39 17-Moderato

This small melodious uncomplicated music sounds very nice on the big Poblet Metzler.:
