Eyvind Hallnäs (b. 1937) — Meditation (1994) for organ

Swedish composer Eyvind Hallnäs (b. 1937) was born in Gothenburg; he is the son of noted composer Hilding Hallnäs. He graduated from the Gothenburg Academy of Music in 1967 where he studied with Torsten Sörensen. He was organist at the Kristina Church in Sala from 1968 until his retirement in 2000. He has been deeply active in the music community of Sala for decades and has composed works in all genres for the area musical ensembles. He has also toured Sweden and Europe as both concert organist and choir director.
